Being a guardian angel wasn’t just about keeping people safe, it’s about keeping people happy. So after I was picked by Ginny, I knew I had to grant her heart’s desire. So I turned white. You’re probably thinking, WHAT!?? But it’s actually really simple. Of course, I couldn’t do it immediately, but after a couple years during a haircut, my fur turned white! Now, Since I was brown, I kinda turned into a brown-white mix. But Ginny was overjoyed. Mission accomplished. Ok. Back to puppy years. You know, Rocky was bigger than me and would sometimes chase me. But I grew! So now I’m the bigger one and sometimes I chase him. Anyway, Rocky is very protective of mom, so whenever she leaves it’s a big deal! Example: Mom Had a Doctors appointment so she left. We waited. And waited. And barked at squeaky doors. (You can never be sure when a monster might come and eat the kids) Then the door opened!  “Mom! Mom! Mom! You’re ok! You’re ok! Oh thank goodness! Mom! Mom!” Rocky Barked. Mom petted h...

Angels 2

It all started when Rocky got picked first!!!! I couldn’t believe my angel brother was picked before me! Just because he’s older. Anyway, He has a specific task; his job is to protect mom. And there was room for me! I was instructed to watch for a little girl to come and bring me home. I would guard the children of the Farmers. So I waited. And waited. Little girls came and went. I had asked how I would know which girl was the one and I was assured I would know. So one day when a cute little girl with short brown hair came through the door, I knew. I ran up to her and she squealed with delight. But of course, it wasn’t that easy. So turns out, this little girl had her heart set on getting a white puppy. And my house brother was white. She let us both snuggle on her lap but it was hard to tell who was winning her heart. But then someone told her “The white one” was a boy and I saw her frown. Ah ha! Now I had a real chance. In the end, the little girl- whose name was Ginny- picked me. An...

“Boys, stop running! You're gonna get hurt! Rocky, not you too!” I barked.  Rocky followed closely behind the boys yipping as they ran up stairs. “You asked for it-” I started. Ding dong! Rocky stopped chasing the boys and started yelping and jumping at the door. “Intruder! Intruder! INTRUDER!!!” he exclaimed. He ran to the window just in time to see a man leave a box on the porch. “That’s right! Go on!” Rocky said.  Mom came and hushed him. “Aren’t you proud of me, mom? I scared off the intruder, mom!” Rocky said, jumping and pawing her legs. Mom opened the door and picked up the package. Yep, this is an ordinary day in the Farmer's house. My name is Lulu and I am the nanny pup and Rocky is my partner. And we are the Farmer family’s guardian angels. It is our duty to keep everyone safe. From squirrels to car accidents, we have been doing our job faithfully since the first day. And believe me, Seven years of protection is a big deal! -Whimsical Writer

“Isabelle!” Miss Breana’s sharp voice cut through my thoughts. I jerked my head up out of my book. “Twenty seven!”  I said. Miss Breana looked at expectantly. “Twenty eight?” “Three hundred and sixty four.” She sighed. “Isabelle, you‘re not listening. Three months! three months I gave to mourn over the passing of your parents. It is time to move on.” She said, closing the mathematics book. Not this again. I thought. “Your parents have left a legacy for you. You have to build on that legacy.” Miss Breana threw aside the curtains. “Look at this kingdom! So much in need of a leader. You are that leader!” “But I’m only sixteen! I still have my whole life to live!” I pleaded. “I don’t want to be burdened with such heavy decisions, I want to be free and fly  like the pigeons!” I leaned out the window and watched as the birds flew this way and that. “Isabelle, You are an Orodon! You need to start acting like one!” She said, closing the windows. “What if I don’t want to b...

This is probaly my longest post. It is called 'Criffens   I lived in a tree that men and elves had passed under without ever knowing that I was there. I preferred to only hunt at night, that is, if I was very hungry, and I had lived by myself ever since that unfortunate day. This was how I thought it would always be, and it was, for a long time, Until One summer evening. I was in my tree watching the sunset slip below the horizon, the beautiful colors slowly fading away. I was patiently waiting for the moon to rise so I could find some dinner, when I heard a sound below me. I cautiously looked down to see who or what was there. Nothing. Confused, I shrugged and went back to waiting. A little later I heard a rustle above me. I looked up into the branches, once again, nothing. “Strange…” I said to myself. I started to think it was just my imagination, when I heard a sneeze from behind me. I whirled around, and saw nothing! Suddenly, I decided that I didn’t need to wait for the moon...

Crash! Everyone froze. I cringed. Why do metal food trays have to be so loud? Miss Bell, the principal, burst through the cafeteria doors.”What happened!? Who made this mess!?” Every hand was pointing at me. ”Ronald! You clean this up right now!” She said, glaring. I sighed and started mopping up A mix of peanut butter and mashed potatoes. Once Miss Bell was gone, everyone burst out in giggles and whispers. I felt my ears turn red and I scrubbed harder. When I finally finished, It was time for classes again. I groaned and grabbed my bag for math. When I got to my classroom, my teacher, Miss Shanen, was waiting for me at the door. “Ronald, you are late again. Please give me homework and get ready for our quiz.” She said, closing the door behind me. I reached inside my bag, but it wasn't there! I quickly scanned the classroom, and there was Cooper, grinning smugly. “Well, Where is it?” she asked impatiently. “Um…” I looked around for help, but everyone pretended to be busy studying. ...

Have you ever seen the ocean? The sun reflecting off the surfaces of the blue making it sparkle? The deep waters that stretch across the horizon as far as the eye can see? The seagulls above and dolphins below calling to one another as the play? That is where I live. On A tiny island in the middle of the ocean, There is A little house settled next to A lighthouse. Every day at dawn, I wake up and help my daddy tend to the lighthouse. It is wonderful to be a lighthouse keeper. But as much as I love the ocean, life can get A little boring. I have always wanted to go to the mainland, but daddy says it would be risky. One night I asked why, but he didn’t answer. Instead, he sadly gazed off into the stars and was silent. The only person to leave the island was Don the sailor. Daddy paid Don to sail to the mainland to get supplies like groceries.  -Whimsical Writer
