Cats

  You know what's funny?  About 50%* of all the stories I have written or thought of are about cats. And 20%* at least have cats in them. That only leaves 30%* for normal non-cat stories. 30%!!* I don't have any cats!! I have been scratched by a cat!!! I am allergic to cats!!! So why do I write so much about cats?  I'm glad you asked. 😉 I have no idea. 😅 Maybe since I don't have a cat and I don't know what it's like to have to clean out a little box and bathe a clawed ball of fury, Maybe I think that cats are just cute and perfect in every way? Maybe. Here's something to think about; When I was little (like, maybe 8) I wrote (or drew. mostly drew :) a story about a dog who was a sheriff trying to catch this cat who was a thief. in the end they fell in love, so no harm no foul and no went to jail. Long Road Home

I'm driving down this small road in the middle of a beautiful forest not knowing where I'm going, but not really caring anyway. All I know is I'm going somewhere and whatever happens I'm having fun. But then My phone pings. The Google Map app floods the screen. "I see that the route you're on now is slow," Google Map says. "But I have found a much better and more efficient route for you to take. Would you like to continue?" Faster is better, right? I start to wonder if I should try something bigger than my little road. Diving in the woods had been fine for so long, I wonder what this new path will be like. "Sure," I say, excitedly pressing "continue".  The directions veer me off my path. There's no turning back now.  The road takes me to a wide speedy highway where I get bumped along by car after car, each clearly going big places.
